Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my just giving page.

Myself, Rhys and the whole family will be taking part in the Swansea walk it marathon in June, any donations would be hugely appreciated and all proceeds go to Crohn’s and colitis U.K. charity! Myself and Rhys both suffer with Crohn’s disease on a daily basis and your donations can help towards medical science finding a cure for us!  I’ve been through a lot over my 13 years with Crohn’s, the last 2 years being the most difficult, I’ve been on 7 immunosuppressant drugs, steroids and other medications to help combat the disease, so far I’ve had 2 operations, the first being an emergency bowel resection with serious complications after, this disease doesn’t come alone I’ve had sepsis 5 times ( a deadly blood poisoning infection) and I also have gallstones, This year I begin my biggest and hardest Crohn’s journey, on July 30th I’m having a protocolectomy, I will be having a large part of my large bowel removed and they will be taking away my rectum and sewing up my anus so I’ll have a colostomy bag for life, If you could dig deep and donate anything possible to help towards finding a cure I would be very grateful!! Thankyou for taking the time to read my story 💜
