On the 20th May 2018, I will be running the Great Manchester Run to raise money for the One UK Appeal, an appeal set up by the charity Victim Support. 

This appeal supports those who have been affected by last years terrorist attacks, such as the Manchester Arena and London Bridge attacks. Through studying the Manchester Arena attack in further detail over the past few months, as a result of my university studies, I found that many people who weren't physically injured or directly affected by the attack, suffered psychological injuries.

This is where the One UK Appeal is able to assist, as they operate a 24/7 support line to provide advice and emotional support to those who might have been affected, or are worried about friends or relatives who may be suffering. The money raised also helps in providing support groups for victims, and specialist long term support for individuals affected by these atrocities.

So please help me in raising at least £100 for the tremendous work and support this charity continues to provide. Every donation counts and is greatly appreciated.
