or, as we say in Mongolian:  Hello!

SO excited to share that I will embark on May 21st on a ten-day horse riding and trekking expedition to visit the eagle hunters of the Altai Mountains of Mongolia. I will be joining a team of 12 courageous women of various nationalities (France, Canada, Singapore, Israel, Russia, Philippines...) under the initiative of an organisation called Women on a Mission (WOAM) based in Singapore.  

Definitely going out of our comfort zone, we will be horse riding a few days across the Mongolian steppes before trekking towards the summit of Mount Malchin (4050m) through snow and rough terrain, while camping in freezing conditions. Back in the capital city UlaanBaatar, I will be conducting a workshop for the Mongol women who have sought refuge at the National Centre Against Violence (NCAV).

I am completely self-financing my trip. ALL money raised will be used to improve the lives of female victims of war via the charity Women for Women International UK. I would be very grateful if you could spare a few minutes to contribute to this worthy cause, however big or small your donation might be.
