Myself (Hilary), Sophie, Sam, Tracey,  Louisa, Jaide and Georgie are helping to raise awareness for Sands. It is Sands 40th anniversary this year and we are some of over 40 runners who are running the Bristol 10k for Sands. This charity has provided invaluable support for myself and countless others like me who had their child die before, during or shortly after they were born. 

No one expects to outlive their child but when they are taken from you at a mere 29 days old it it truly devastating.  My life is now forever full of what ifs and unknowns about Oscar's personality and what could have been. Oscar's short life changed me forever and as I journey on in my state of 'new normal'  I thank all those around me who offer me love and support through my ups and downs on my endless journey of loss, grief, sadness and acceptance. This support is especially provided by Sands and those running with me and for Oscar during this event. Thank you very much team. Xxx
