Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are three women who have never done a Triathlon before- brought together by the love of our friends Miranda and Roy and their son Joseph who was tragically killed in November last year. Joseph was a keen supporter of The Dominic Beer Memorial Trust (soon to be renamed the Beer-Harris Memorial Trust in his honour). He was a Trustee and fundraiser for the charity that helps people suffering from severe mental illness. Joseph brought love and compassion to many, including people suffering from mental illness. He was a great athlete and he used his skills, his health and his energy to help others and we want to follow his example and give something back to people who have had so much taken away from them. Thank you for your support and encouragement!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

Inspired by the lives of Dr Dominic Beer and Joseph Harris we fund raise to support community projects, raise awareness and facilitate research in order to promote improved mental health in two groups of people: adults suffering from Severe and Enduring Mental Illness and young adults
