John went from being fighting fit to having less than a year to live at the age of 52. 

The Macmillian team were fantastic when John received his diagnosis they not only helped us come to terms with his condition and the fact it was incurable they helped us understand what benefits and help John was entitled to and what support was available to him and the whole family. They helped fill our forms, fast tracked steps in the process and generally made those initial few weeks much easier.

John lost his battle but rather than send flowers to his funeral please donate to one or both of my chosen charities as both have played a vital part over the past few months.
