If you know me you'll know I run a lot and you will also know I never really ask for sponsorship when I do events as I am really conscious that we all give to charity in our own way and I respect that personal choice. Sometimes though something comes along that leaves you in no doubt that you need to step up. What Steve Burne and Ronald McDonald House is doing is special and means a lot to me personally so I knew I needed to do something, but also knew it needed to be something that was a real challenge for me to get people to part with their hard earned.

The Gin Pit Double marathon is certainly a challenge - I have completed 26.2 miles a number of times but never done it on consecutive days. Trust me this is taking me well outside my comfort zone.
