In late 2017 one of my colleagues suffered a personal loss that spurred him to pursue a number of charity fundraising challenges, one of which is the National 3 Peaks Challenge. 

Together with a number of Driver Require colleagues, I jumped at the opportunity to join him on the 3 Peaks Challenge and to raise funds for my preferred charity, Cancer Research UK.

The reason I have chosen Cancer Research UK is that too many of my close friends and family have been afflicted by cancer, and I hope that my fundraising will make a small but hopefully meaningful contribution to this cause.
