Myself and 9 other Tempest Photography “cyclists” from all over the country will be pedaling from John O’Groats to Land’s End this August (2018). So, it’s about 1000 miles.... and we have just 10 days to do it! 100 miles a day for 10 days is not going to be easy, for me anyway, but it’ll be such an adventure and, given not all of us are exceptional cyclists (at the moment - watch this space) it’s a mighty challenge for a great cause. The cause is to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society. A care and research charity for people with various kinds of dementia and their carers. Sadly most of us know at least one person who has been or is currently being affected in one way or another by this dreadful disease, so your donations to help find a cure, means of prevention in the future and provide support for sufferers and carers is greatly appreciated.
Your donations so far have meant a lot to us all especially during the cold, wet, dark training months at the beginning of the year. Seeing all the likes, kudos’s and hearts have helped us all to become fitter, stronger cyclists in order to complete this challenge and great motivation to get peddling to complete our challenge and ultimately raise as much cash for the Alzheimer’s Society.
