Story

Thank you for reading our story . We are a team of friends who love the Lakes and love a challenge. We are a mix of civilians, ex military and serving military who all agree that Walking with the wounded is a great charity with its main aim to   " supports a pathway for vulnerable Wounded service men and women to re-integrate back into society and sustain their independance . At the heart of this journey is employment . " There are  numerous events throughout  the year but the one we are entering  is the  Cumbrian Challenge  in May 2018 in Grassmere.

There are 3 categories of challenge, ours is the Tough Route  - 23 km Over the hills and ridges in the Lake District.

With your support we would love to raise £2000 as a team .

Our team FIFTH FUSILIERS  won the challenge for our age category and we would love to retain our trophy !

Fifth Fusiliers are a Reserve Army Battalion recruiting from the Scottish Borders at Berwick through Alnwick , Northumberland , Newcastle upon tyne, Bury in Manchester, Sheldon in Birmingham and Balham in the City of London .

Many thanks for your continued support 😊
