On 8 April 2018 Abbie took part in her first Half Marathon as part of the University of Sheffield team.

On 22 June 2018 Abbie & Ed will be taking part in the Big Walk which comprises a marathon length walk in the Peak District.

We’re raising funds for the University’s £2 million campaign to bring an MRI-PET scanning facility to Sheffield, the first of its kind in Yorkshire.

I've never competed in a race further than 10K (6 miles) and I haven't done any running for the past 5 years so I have alot of training to do in the next 3 months.

We have known too many people - friends, friends of friends and family, who have been affected by cancer and other horrific diseases so we are fundraising to bring this amazing scanner to Sheffield in order to give more people a healthy future.
