Hello!

And welcome to yet another Justgiving page of the Veronica Claxton memorial fund as we continue to honour mums name and look to add to the £260,000 we have so far donated to a range of good causes since mums death. For more information of what and why we do what we do please visit the team Justgiving page for the VCMF (link above!)

This April will see us hit the tarmac of our great capital city on two consecutive weeks and complete two fantastic challenges.

First up on April 12th to the 14th we have a number of us signed up to take part in a 3 day 75 mile walk around all of London’s 13 league football grounds, a real monster gruelling challenge which will test the group both mentally and physically but one we are really looking forward to.

Signed up so far to take part in all 3 days are : Me! (Luke Claxton), Rob Drage, Mark Palmer, Tony Allen, Louise Ashton, Martin Pughsley, Shaun Colson and Zoe Makeham.

As if that wasn’t enough just 8 days after the walk finishes myself Rob Drage and Will Reader will take part in the wonderful London marathon, for me it will be my 4th go at it after 3 successful visits previously and I can’t wait to run alongside two great lads in Rob and Will who will get to experience the magic of VLM for the first time.

We know we are always fundraising and we know people have their own causes they love to support but seeing the great work the funds we are raising for CLIC Sargent are doing just continues to push us on even more so please if you can support us in any way shape or form we would be so grateful.

A huge thank you to all the people giving you up their time and energy to join me on these fantastic challenges and helping to provide vital funds for children and their families living with the daily struggles a cancer diagnosis can bring.

Many thanks for your time and support as always
