Story
On 1 June 2018 I am heading to Amsterdam for the weekend. While this isn't much to write home about in and of itself, the means by which I will be getting myself there is.
Myself, and a group of fellow Kiwis living in London (together 'The Flying Kiwis'), have taken up the challenge of cycling the whole way (well, with a little assistance from a ferry to tackle the straight). In case you're wondering this is a journey over 233km (145 miles) and will take us the best part of 2 days.
We will be donning lycra, subjecting our bums to hours on bike seats, and exposing ourselves up to England's elements... all in the name of raising awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK. A very worthy cause!
Any donation (small or large) would be greatly appreciated and will go a huge way towards meeting my personal, and our group target!
Thanks in advance for your support and generous donations. Any cycling tips are very welcome, especially as this will be 232km longer than my previous longest bike ride!
Cheers,
Simon
