I'll gladly accept more, if you want, but I'm simply asking you to sponsor me £0.10 pence per mile for a 145-mile cycle ride that I'm undertaking to the Dutch capital of Amsterdam backed by the EFL and the League Managers Association

Having not properly ridden a bike for very almost 20 years, a good friend of mine, (well he's an ex-friend now!), invited me to take part in this organised two day event in support of Prostrate Cancer.

This is the most common cancer in men and a disease which kills one man every 45 minutes – that’s two men during a football match. This is simply not acceptable but Prostate Cancer UK know that with your help we can turn it around. Now is the time to take action so as to make this a disease the next generation need not fear.
