We are a small part of a team, supporting our close friend Chris Daniel in his challenge of cycling 18,000 virtual miles around the world from December 2017 to June 2018. Our small contribution to keep him company on this challenge will be to cycle 50 miles in Friars Walk, Newport on 18th January 2018.  We are doing this in memory of our other close friend Rita (Chris's wife), who fought a brave battle with bowel cancer for over 4 years. She hardly wavered in her resolve to rid herself of this despicable disease, and our small contribution in supporting Chris in his challenge is nothing compared to the continual courage Rita demonstrated through her horrific treatment until the very end.
