Story

Dear friends and colleagues

In 2013 my wife Liz and I took part in the Climb of Life, a
fund-raising walk in the fells around Grasmere in the Lake District area of Cumbria.

On Friday 3rd November 2017 we are doing it again!!!

The Climb of Life has been raising funds for The Institute of Cancer Research since 2007 and we are aiming to raise at least £102k this year which would take us to £1.5M in all from the Climb of Life events to date.

The hike over the fells will be about 7.5 miles of pure gruelling terrain and will take up to 4-5 hours.

As you likely know, I was born and bred in Cumbria and therefore I’m preparing myself for the usual November weather of horizontal driving rain and freezing cold temperatures with very occasional glorious bursts of sunshine if we're very lucky!

Please sponsor us to help make this year the best EVER for the Climb of
Life!
