Story

Last year Danny and I raised over £1500 for the Edinburgh sick Kids
charity and this year we wanted to do something bigger. We have decided
to team up with friends and family to walk or run 500 laps of our local
athletic track on september 17th. We have also decided to share the
funds raised between 3 charities and Edinburgh Children's Hospital  is one of them.
Here is why it is important.

Here's Danny

"A wee bit about me - I have been attending the Sick Kids Hospital in Edinburgh since I was 5 with kidney problems. During this time I have had over 10 operations. I receive regular scans & ultrasounds at the Sick Kids Hospital where I was one of the first patients to use the new scanner machine which was funded by SKFF. The care I have received & support  for my parents has been exceptional. Fundraising for the SKFF is my way of giving something back to the hospital that made me feel better."

About the charity

We aim to support every baby, child, young person and family that visits Edinburgh's children's hospital by providing daily activities, ward-based youth work, a family support service, hospital shop, and by funding life-changing medical equipment and ground breaking research.
