Story
On Saturday 9th September I'll be setting off from Land's End with other riders from Vodafone to cycle 969 miles to John O'Groats over 9 days.
I am taking on this challenge to support the Vodafone Foundation's Choose Love campaign, which is aiming to raise £1million in 2017 to support refugees. Currently, 1 in every 113 people on earth have been forcibly displaced from their home due to conflict or natural disaster. 50% of those displaced are children in need of both immediate and longer term support. Money raised through the Choose Love campaign will go towards the UN High Commission for Refugees, to continue the role out of long term education programmes, and to Europe's largest grassroots distributor of aid to refugees, Help Refugees, who provide food, shelter, access to information and basic care items for women and children.
I am aiming to raise £3,000. Anything you can give in support would be greatly appreciated. What's more, every pound I raise will be matched by the Vodafone Foundation.
Please give generously so that together we might contribute to easing this terrible crisis. Thanks for your contribution!
