Girlguiding Midlands have teamed up with Macmillan to create Challenge badges for Guides, giving other suggestions of how to support them as an adult. 

Malvern Guiding lost a long serving member of it's team to cancer and this inspired us to take action and sign up to run the Birmingham half marathon on 15th October 2017.

Guiding benefits so many people, in many different ways,  and inspires and encourages thousands of girls, giving many skills and friendships for life. A positive thing. 

Cancer affects many people, and sadly many people also die due to cancer. We want to do our best to do our bit to help beat cancer, and to help to support those who suffer at the hands of cancer, to raise vital funds to help as many people and families as possible, and to help the nurses and workers of macmillian doing what they can.
