For most of the past decade my trainers have been buried at the bottom of a cupboard collecting dust..... And then I turned 39 and the mid-life "crisis" kicked in, so with the gentle encouragement of some friends I decided "this girl" maybe should.....

So on Sunday 24 September I am hoping to make it around the 13.1 miles (or so) of the Robin Hood Half Marathon.....

Any support or advice would be gratefully received but I would also like to make a polite request to all of my fabulous friends and family that if you were maybe considering buying me a card or gift to mark my fast approaching big 4-0 then could I ask that you pop a couple of pounds into my justgiving fund instead please.
