I'm taking on the Aspire Channel Swim 2017, swimming the distance of the Channel over 12 weeks to raise money for Aspire.

I haven't known Marie for very long, but I can't fail to be inspired by her positivity and resilience.  My miles will contribute to the total for the whole team, but I'm challenging myself by pledging to complete the whole 22 miles myself as well.  This will be a challenge not least because this is my busiest time with work so I will have to be motivated and organised to fit in time for all that swimming!  But that challenge is nothing at all compared to what someone who needs Aspire goes through when they have a life changing spinal injury.  So please sponsor me and cheer me on - I'll be updating my Aspire page with my distances as I go! https://aspirechannelswim.co.uk/user/u/15550

Every eight hours someone is paralysed by a Spinal Cord Injury and Aspire provides the essential equipment, advice, housing and grants that spinal cord injured people need to live their lives independently. It's a fab charity doing really important work so please donate if you can .... no amount too small, it all helps <3
