Story

My name is Marcin from Poland Working in Brasserie Blanc Southbank in London and I would like to tell you why I’m in the team for Mont Blanc.

Many times in my life I proved myself that I'm a hard working person and I've learned how to push my boundaries.

When I was 14 years old I was working in my dad's garage fixing cars because I wanted to buy myself some trainers to play football. While my friends were having fun I was waking up around 6am and working hard on my goals.

Many years ago I decided to start dancing and some of my friends told me that dancing was for gay and that I would never make it a success...

I wanted to prove them that they were wrong and I started to pursue my dancing career.
4 years later I was on a stage with my dance performance and I started winning many competitions. I was part of the best dance group in Poland. Once we won the 4th place in the European dance championship.
At that time I proved myself again that with my hard work I can achieve my biggest dreams and that in life there are no limits.

10 years ago I came to London with my girlfriend and I didn't speak English and didn't know what to do with my lives.

9 years ago I lost everything and I became homeless, working at two jobs at the time. I was working in Chez Gerard in Covent Garden in a day time and at nights I was working in Casino Empire. I was living in the casino without any money and I had to eat some food that was free for the guests.

I started sleeping in Green Park with with my bag and shaving in public toilets... It was very challenging time for me... After 6 weeks on the streets of London I started a new chapter in my life.

2 years ago I got very depressed because of my girlfriend's illness and I became overweight.
After some time I decided to beat depression and show people that I can overcome my weaknesses.

In 12 months I lost 34kg and changed physically and mentally...

In the past 9 months I started sharing my story with other people on instagram: www.instagram.com/marcinjablonski_official

My message: you don't need to have money or connections to succeed in life... You just need to open your mind.

9 years ago I had nothing and now I'm inspiring people to achieve their dreams .In the past 12 months I helped more them 100 people to change their lives and inspired many more. I was invited to interviews, tv programs and last weekend I was a public speaker.

I know that Life can be challenging and I know how to motivate myself and other people to reach their goals... I know how to work in a team and I know that I can prepare my body in 3 months for this challenge. This trip would allow me to inspire other people to fight for their dreams, that's the main reason I want to be part this adventure.

I've decided to do the unbelievable once again - an attempt to summit the highest mounting in the Alps and highest in Europe rising to 15,774 feet!!

We are raising money for The Christie Hospital & Tim Bacon Foundation in memory of our dear friend & colleague, Rob White and restaurant entrepreneur, Tim Bacon.
