Story

Since starting triathlons a few years ago, my swimming has improved significantly. Around 3-4 years ago, I would struggle to swim 25m front crawl, now I'm pretty comfortable swimming half a mile (750m) and every now and then stretch that to a mile (1500m).

On 18th July, (rescheduled to 15th September) I am going to attempt my longest swim ever to raise awareness for Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA). It's no ordinary swim that's for sure....I'll be swimming across the Solent, to the Isle of Wight, around 3 miles across a busy shipping lane and will have to navigate around the ferries and maybe even the odd hovercraft. It's not an easy swim, with potentially choppy waters and strong currents to contend with.

I'm only looking to raise £250, so would appreciate any help anybody can give me. The odd £5 will go a long way towards my target :-)

Thank you x
