Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Saturday 21st July at midday I will be setting off to cycle from Great Ormond Street Hospital in London to Paris, 270.2 miles, in 24 hours...where I am hoping some one will have a cold beer ready & waiting! 24 of us have taken on this challenge to raise money for the Willow Foundation and the Naomi Fund.
The Naomi Fund was set up to celebrate the life of Naomi Fardell who sadly passed away having been born with congenital heart defects. Over the years many events have been organised to raise funds for the charity, with monies being split between Great Ormond Street Hospital, Heart Link at Glenfield Hospital in Leicester and the Kingfisher Ward at Grantham Hospital.
The Willow Foundation was founded in 1999 by former Arsenal goal keeper and TV presenter Bob Wilson and his wife, as a lasting memory to their daughter Anna who passed away of Cancer just 31 years old. The charity provides quality of time & quality of life, providing a welcome distraction from the challenging realities of living with a serious and life threatening illness.
Any pennies you can spare will go towards the group total and every penny counts.
