Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
In 2009 Our beautiful twin boys Charlie & James were born 14 weeks premature and taken to NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or Baby unit) at the Derby Royal Hospital, James was little brother to Charlie.
Both our boys received specialised treatment, and as a family, the staff gave us amazing support.
Devastatingly James passed away in our arms after a brave fight of 2 and a half months.
Big brother Charlie is now nearly 8 years old.
In August 2016 our darling baby Daughter, Olivia-Hope was born, 6 weeks premature.
Again the staff were amazing.
My husband and I and the whole family want to raise as much money as possible for the Baby Unit at Derby,
The Friends of the Baby Unit charity raises funds for equipment for babies which are born early and require intensive nursing care. Over the past few years the Friends of the Baby Unit have provided funding for ventilators, heart monitors, incubators and other essential items of equipment to give the babies the best care possible.
