We provide children's hospice care to children and families across Sussex

Story

On Saturday 17 June I will be riding with my friend Seb Tucknott across the South Downs between Winchester and Eastbourne in just a day to raise money for two charities - Chestnut Tree House Hospice and Crohn's & Colitis UK

But what is already a tough challenge to complete is going to be made even harder by chronic health conditions that we both live with.

Mark have ankylosing spondylitis (AS), Crohn’s disease and psoriasis, while Seb has ulcerative colitis.

These conditions cause us both pain and extreme fatigue which has made training more difficult.

About the charity

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.
