Holy Family Walk Against Hunger

Story
This Lent CAFOD are inviting schools to Walk against Hunger!
Following the success of CAFOD’s ‘Walk for Water’ appeal last year, we have decided as a school to support CAFOD’s ‘Walk against Hunger’ 2022 Lenten appeal.
“Walking in solidarity with the 200 million children whose lives are at risk because of malnutrition.”
On Friday 11th March, the whole school watched the National Assembly presented by CAFOD which introduced their focus for this Lent. To find out more about the CAFOD ‘Walk against Hunger’ and the reasons behind it, the link to the national assembly is: https://youtu.be/eWG7DvH7u_s
CAFOD is challenging people to walk 200km this Lent. That’s a long walk for one person, but we are planning to do it together as a school. With all the children, staff and any parents who wish to join us, I am positive we can cover this distance together!
The Chaplaincy team have worked hard to plan a walk for the whole school to take part in on Tuesday 29th March.
Anything that you can spare would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support on behalf of the children and CAFOD.
