#GOTEAMGLAD Hello friends and family! Once again Team Glad will be doing the Kiltwalk to raise funds and support The Glad Foundation in providing access to music-making for people in Glasgow's Southside, regardless of their background or ability. Now more than ever young people need our support to nurture their wellbeing and creativity. Over the years we've been lucky enough to experience first hand the amazing music made by the young people supported by the Glad Foundation, and the hard work put in by the tutors who share their passion and skills on a weekly basis. Lockdown and social distancing has made for a challenging year, but the resilience of both the young people and tutors has been incredible, and the weekly music sessions have been a real life line for many. All of your donations will go directly to helping support The Glad Foundation's programme of activities, keeping them free or affordable, and accessible to people regardless of age, background or ability. For this Virtual Kiltwalk Team Glad will be walking a route taking in the incredible arts organisations The Glad has had the honour of working with and alongside for the past decade! What is so great about the Kiltwalk is that every donation will be topped up by a further 50% thanks to the The Hunter Foundation. So for every pound you donate you’ll actually be contributing £1.50.
