This is the only Lent challenge you need! Walk a total of 5 miles (10,000 steps) a day for 40 days. You can do it however you like, wherever you like, with whomever you like! Pull up your laces and join us in the fight against poverty!

Story

I was shocked when I heard that 1 in 3 people in the world still do not have access to clean water. There was I worrying whether I had enough hand sanitiser or loo rolls (!) and there are people who have to walk miles every day just to get water. This is so restrictive that they struggle to survive, grow crops or have any kind of small business. So this Lent I'm taking on the Walk for Water Challenge. I'll be walking 10,000 steps (approx 5 miles) a day for 40 days to raise money for CAFOD's work around the world. The average cost to sink a well, solar powered pump etc into a village is £750 - hence my target. Please donate if you can, and add Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer. Thank you!
