Hello,

As Secretary of North Ferriby FC Supporters Club I have arranged to do a sponsored walk on the day the Villagers are playing away to Grimsby. The walk will start at the Humber Bridge and finish at the Bradley Football Development centre, home of Grimsby Borough Football Club. I will be accompanied on the twenty-two mile walk by Supporters Club Chair Mark Leighton and club member Charlie Hilton.

I had the idea of arranging the sponsored walk at the beginning of the season and my motivation is simple - I want to make a personal contribution to show my appreciation for being so welcomed by North Ferriby Football Club. As a Lancastrian. I moved to the East Riding 10 years ago to take up a job in the Cardiology Department at Castle Hill Hospital. I discovered the Villagers during the COVID-19 pandemic back in 2020 when attending football matches was restricted to games at grassroots level.

Since then, my passion for the Club has grown immeasurably; I am now a season passholder and proud to be a member of the Supporters Club which has heralded fantastic interaction between supporters and players and a measure of the allegiance and commitment to our wonderful football club.

My target for the walk is to achieve £300 and we are discussing sponsorship options with Les Hare regarding specific funding from all monies raised, which will be revealed shortly.
