Spending Eid-Ul-Adha with Orphans In Palestine

Penny Appeal and Holy Land Dates are taking 30 individuals to Palestine this August to personally hand deliver Eid Gifts and Qurbani.

For many of us, meat is a staple in our diet, but for millions of people around the world Eid-Ul-Adha is the only time of year that many receive this kind of nourishment, meaning that they depend greatly upon this sacred sacrifice. 

As the Prophet PBUH said

‘’A Muslim is not Muslim until he loves for his brother more than he loves for himself’’ so during the period of Eid it is essential that we share with our brothers and sisters around the world. By providing disadvantaged people with this privilege, you will receive immeasurable rewards. 

The Prophet (saw) was once asked: “What is Qurbani?”
He (saw) replied:  “It is the sunnah of your father Ibrahim
(as). For every hair of the Qurbani, you will receive reward from Allah (swt).” [Tirmidhi] 

The cost of 1 Qurbani is £335.00 that will feed approximately 5 families.

The cost of 1 "Special Eid Gift Set" for an Orphan child is £30.00. (Gift to include a rucksack, t-shirt, cap and sweets).
