Here at Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind we have been providing expert advice and support to local communities for 40 years. 

At a time when mental health funding is being cut and suicide rates are at their highest, we continue to help people from all walks of life, whilst ensuring funds raised are spent locally. 

Over the last 18 months we have worked with various mosques and asylum seeker groups to ensure they are getting support and also helped to open the discussion around faith and mental health. 

We want this work to continue and increase as we progress through 2018 and into 2019 because there is need everywhere. 

As a charity, we rely on support from individuals, community groups and local businesses to ensure we are able to keep providing the high standard of services for which we are known.

By taking part, not only do we gain unrestricted funds to support our services, but we build up a network of individuals across our communities that can be ambassadors for our services, challenge the negative stigma around mental health and promote looking after your own health and wellbeing.
